Strength and conditioning should not be ignored, however many athletes do ignore this important part of training. As triathletes we spend a lot of time repeating the same movement patterns over and over again. This can lead to muscle imbalances which can potentially cause injury. Below are a range of exercises that can be performed at home without any specialist equipment, of course if you can get to the gym then it is useful to incorporate weights into some of the exercises, however a lot can be done at home to help prevent injuries.
