Nutrition for endurance athletes
Nutrition for endurance athletes
• Have you ever felt confused about the information and advice for athletes?
• Are you unsure how to fuel for your adventures?
• Have you started to see weight gain, and are unclear about what to do?
I have seen many people get overwhelmed with information that may not be relevant to them.
What worked for your friend, may not work for you as an athlete.
By the way, if you train and race you ARE an athlete!
I believe in real food, not products, and in making sustainable change. I have lots of ideas that will help you to eat more healthily. If you have coaching supported with a food and nutrition package then it will take your training to the next level. Or you may just be looking for some direction in your diet, in which case I can help you too by providing clarity on what to eat and when.
I know that many people face time challenges and different dietary needs. I aim to make things easier for you by keeping up to date with current research in food and nutrition, and making it simple to eat well.
Clare lost 1.5kg over 3 weeks with just a few tweaks to her nutrition.
“Celia understood the issues I’m having, how I need to eat and train differently now due to my age, she was not condescending at all which I have previously experienced with a male trainer”
Clare Malone: Triathlete, nutrition consultation
I hold a level 3 diploma in Sports nutrition, and have a passion for food. (Get some inspiration from my blog here). When you are putting in the hours training, then you need to ensure that you are consuming a high quality diet. The consequences of ignoring your food and nutrition, can cause, illness, failure to recover properly from workouts, and lack of improvement or poor performance in races.
I offer two packages to suit individuals.
Premium Nutrition Consultation
£269
This consultation will last for a maximum of 6 weeks and I will set up an initial meeting to discuss any goals or concerns that you may have. After our initial meeting I will send you a food diary to complete, which will include any training sessions that you have completed, and how you fuelled afterwards. I will expect you to complete 2 of these day long diaries per week. This will allow me to see any areas that need improvement or any times that you may find it challenging to fuel correctly. I will give you feedback every week on the diaries that you have provided me with, and action points to take forward. At the end of the 6 weeks we will arrange another meeting to see how you have managed to implement any advice or changes in to your lifestyle.
